Meet The Team

Amy Katz

Amy is the owner of Urban Bark and has been working with dogs since 2010. From walking to grooming to in-home boarding, she's done it all! She has always had a great love and deep compassion for animals so its only natural that she chose this path for her career. She is also a proud mom to a rescue pup, Trooper.

She began fostering dogs in 2014 through Just Paws Animal Rescue, and she will very proudly admit to having foster failed her first time around! Since adopting Trooper, she has continued to foster many dogs and is just happy to know that she has played a small part in making their lives better.

Amy is also one of our talented groomers at Urban Bark.

Amy is CPR and first aid certified from St. John Ambulance.

Carmen

Carmen is our very talented groomer. She graduated grooming school in 2022 and has been working with us ever since! You can find her at Urban Bark five days a week making the pups feel and look their best one dog at a time!

Amy

Amy is not only the owner of Urban Bark, but also one of our talented groomers. She has over 15 years of grooming experience and loves making your pups look and feel their best!

Michelle

Michelle is our loving and talented bather. She was working in retail for over 10 years at the same store but she needed a change and longed to work with dogs. One day she knocked on our door looking for a job and the rest is history. She is kind, patient, and loving towards all our grooming pups.

Lauren

Lauren, our manager joined Urban Bark in August 2022 after moving here from England. She is dog mom to her 14 year old pug Rufus and is the self proclaimed queen of the small dogs, they stick to her like magnets!

Beth

Beth joined the team in 2024 and we can't even remember what it was like without her. She is one of our ever patient daycare staff as well as one of our loving weekend boarders.

Delfina

Delfina joined the team in 2024 and the dogs just adore her!

She is a part of our daycare and weekend boarding team.

Sam

Sam has been with Urban Bark since 2018. Her fun energy and sense of humour keeps us laughing everyday. Sam is dog mom to Zuko and Paisley, she has had a love for dogs her whole life and has recently started dog training. Sam is pet first aid certified through Paws and Leashes Pet First Aid

Lindsay

Lindsay joined our team after a long year of restrictions and lockdowns. Lindsay has a blue heeler, Cici, that she loves and adores like her own child.

After over a year working at Urban Bark, Lindsay has made the switch to our Urban Bark Dog Walking team. She loves being outdoors with the pups everyday and the transition has been seamless!
